What’s new in Meducation

  1. v0.2.0

    The one-page patient brochure

The brochure grew from a leaflet about a condition into a one-page plan for a patient. It now comes with a digital copy for the patient’s phone and a safety check before you share.

    A brand-new one-page brochure

The brochure is completely redesigned as a patient journey: what it is, why it happens, how it affects you, your treatment (“you are here”), self-care, and getting better. It fits on a single A4 page, with a clear red warning zone and your practice’s emergency contacts at the foot.

Scan to keep: a digital copy on the patient’s phone

Every printed brochure now carries a QR code. Patients scan it to open a phone-friendly copy of their leaflet, always the full version, with tap-to-call emergency numbers. You can also show the QR on screen for a patient to scan in the room.

A safety check before you share

If a prescribed medicine has tailored guidance for a patient detail you haven’t set, such as a comorbidity, an allergy or pregnancy, the composer points it out and double-checks at print or share. It never blocks you. It simply makes sure a relevant caution isn’t missed.

    See what’s personalised

A new toggle above the preview shows exactly which lines the patient’s details changed, what was added or swapped, and why. You can check the brochure says what you intend before it leaves your hands.

Prescribe from the full medication list

You can now add any medication to a brochure, not just the ones with written content for that condition. Drugs we haven’t written about yet appear honestly, with a simple “take as directed by your doctor” note, so your selection never silently disappears.

    Reprint a recent brochure

The composer keeps your last few brochures on this device for 48 hours. It stores just the recipe, never anything about the patient, so a failed share or a next-morning reprint is one click.

    Also improved

    • Safety cautions on treatment cards are now highlighted in red.
    • Medicines show their correct route of administration (inhalers, injections, drops) instead of a guessed one.
    • A calmer, refreshed composer, with the patient’s details grouped on a clinical pad.
    • Send feedback from any page: a bug, an idea, or something confusing.
    • Change your password any time from the Security page.
    • We moved to our permanent home: meducation.health.
    • Accessibility improvements across the app.

Plus many smaller fixes, performance improvements and ongoing security hardening.

  2. v0.1.0

    Private beta foundation

The first complete Meducation: everything a practice needs to turn a diagnosis into a personalised patient brochure.

    The brochure composer

Pick a condition, set the patient’s non-identifying details and treatments, and watch a personalised brochure compose live, built from a shared, clinically reviewed content library. No patient information is ever stored.

    Clinical review, built in

Every piece of brochure content flows through a review workflow, and nothing reaches a patient without a clinical reviewer’s sign-off.

    Your practice, your brand

Logo, colours and a banner image on every brochure, with per-location overrides for multi-practice groups. Each doctor’s name and headshot appear on the brochures they make.

    Teams and security

Invite colleagues by email, manage your practice’s team, and protect your account with optional two-factor authentication.

Meducation is in private beta. Join the waitlist to get in line.
