1. What Meducation is

Meducation is a software service that lets healthcare professionals assemble personalised patient-education brochures from a library of clinically reviewed content. It is a professional tool for registered healthcare practitioners and their practice staff; it is not intended for use by members of the public.

2. Clinical responsibility

Meducation provides educational support material. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations, and it is not a medical device. The treating healthcare professional remains solely responsible for all clinical decisions, for reviewing every brochure before sharing it, and for judging its appropriateness for the specific patient. Content in the library is reviewed by our clinical team, but no library can substitute for professional judgement in an individual consultation.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Accounts belong to individuals — do not share sign-ins. Practice administrators are responsible for managing their team's access and removing members who leave. We may suspend accounts that put the platform or its data at risk.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Meducation to process identifiable patient information (the product is designed not to need it); do not attempt to access other practices' data; do not resell, scrape, or bulk-extract the content library; and do not use the service in breach of any law or professional rule that applies to you.

5. Content and intellectual property

The content library, the software, and the Meducation brand remain our property or that of our licensors. Generated brochures may be shared freely with your patients in the course of their care. Your practice's branding assets remain yours; you grant us a licence to store and render them for the purpose of generating your brochures.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” and may be interrupted for maintenance or by events beyond our control. During pilot phases, features may change with limited notice. Do not rely on Meducation as the only source of critical patient information.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. As set out in section 2, clinical decisions and the use of generated material with patients remain the responsibility of the treating professional. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under South African law, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time via admin@sciborgcommunications.com. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these terms. Sections 2, 5, and 7 survive termination.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We may update these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will change and material changes will be communicated to account holders. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
